A Brigid's Forge Course
A self-paced journey through Land, Sea, and Sky, in preparation for Imbolc — and every ritual that comes after it.
You've read about people holding rituals. Leaving out bits of cloth. Lighting candles. Speaking to a goddess most of us were never taught how to speak to.
But what does any of that actually mean for you?
This is the framework I use, every year, to prepare for Imbolc — built to be genuinely practical, whatever time or resources you have. Not a course about doing Imbolc correctly. A course about building a ritual that's actually yours.
The framework
Three realms. Three faces of Brigid. One thread — the flame — running through all of it.
Talamh
Ancestors, ancient places, sacred cycles — the ground beneath the ritual.
Brigid the Smith
Muir
Deities, the Sí, otherworld journeys — what moves beneath the surface.
Brigid the Healer
Neamh
Magical craft, lore, community, priesthood — the wide space above it all.
Brigid the Poet
How it works
No fixed schedule. No live calls to arrange your week around. Move through it at whatever speed suits you — and return to it in future years, as your practice deepens.
Broken into focused pieces, not one long sitting — watch a few minutes at a time, or a whole session in one go.
Real space to think and write, session by session, as your own ritual takes shape across the course.
One flame-and-spiral-path journey, returned to throughout — so it becomes a practice, not a one-off.
Irish language, lore, and practice throughout — never a costume version of someone else's culture.
The five sessions
Meet the framework: what ritual actually means, the three realms, and the three faces of Brigid you'll work with throughout. Your first guided meditation, and the first sketch of your own Imbolc ritual.
Grounding in the body — senses, breath, and practices for genuinely getting to know your own body, including the sometimes-difficult mirror work. Sacred space, daily practice, and a full session on building relationship with your ancestors, with its own dedicated meditation.
What emotions actually are, and how to feel, name, and work with the ones you'd usually avoid. Practical tools for dealing with what comes up, and for the emotions too big to process in the moment. Deepening your relationship with Brigid as Imbolc approaches.
What spirituality and magic mean, in practice. Designing the actual structure of your ritual — purpose, outcomes, shape. Community, priesthood, and what both mean for you, whether or not either feels like your path.
Bringing it all back together. A full ritual script — opening and closing prayers moving through the provinces of Ireland, in Irish and English — yours to use as-is, adapt, or draw inspiration from. A final meditation, and space to reflect on everything that's shifted since Session 1.
A shared pronunciation guide is included too, covering every piece of Irish used across the course.
Is this for you?
Going deeper
The self-paced course is built to stand completely on its own — everything you need is there, whether or not you go any further.
But if you want support that's specific to you — working through something that came up in a meditation, shaping your ritual with someone else in the room, or simply having a person to bring your questions to — I'm offering three 1:1 coaching sessions alongside the course, placed wherever they're most useful across your journey.

Questions
No. This course is built for complete beginners as well as those with more experience in other traditions. Nothing here assumes you're already dedicated to any particular god or practice.
That's genuinely up to you. There's no deadline, no cohort to keep pace with. Some people move through it in a few weeks; others take it slowly across the whole run-up to Imbolc, or come back to it year after year.
The course is built around Imbolc, since that's the seasonal anchor for the whole framework — but the practices themselves (grounding, emotional work, ritual design, working with a deity) are transferable to any ritual you build in future.
You're welcome to start with the self-paced course alone and add coaching later, if that's available at the time — or reach out to me directly with questions before you decide.
